little analog drum pack

'little analog drum pack' is a small sample pack made with the compact, yet powerful arturia drumbrute impact. each sound is made via analog oscillators contained within

each loop was recorded by taking the line outs of each individual instrument, running them through a mackie 32-8 mixer for initial eqing, recorded line by line with the scarlett 18i20 into ableton live where they were further mixed with slate digital plugins. select loops were then run through a pro ii vla compressor and/or a tascam portastudio 414 for color and charm. loops were created with a combination of the impact's incredible built in sequencer and midi notes sequenced by ableton live

this pack was inspired by my new studio arangement. now that I have every synth running into its own channel on the mixer, synths connected to midi from ableton, the patchbay routed, tape machine and compressor set up, and effects hooked up, I. see this pack as the beginning of things to come.
