'the alpha juno pack' is a small sample pack made entirely with the roland alpha juno

the roland alpha juno was released in 1985 as the next generation of juno. in many ways, the alpha was an upgrade to the juno line. there were added analog oscillator shapes, increased range for the sub-oscillator, and deeper control for the infamous juno chorus. for the first half of the 80, the juno line was king among musicians for its ease of use and lower price point. this made the juno ubiquitous and can be heard on many timeless albums. but in 1984, yamaha released the dx7, which took the synth world by starm. to combat slumping juno sales, roland attempted to recreate the thing that people liked least about the dx7: the interface. this simple misstep caused the alpha juno to largely be forgotten to time.

each sample was created by programming a series of midi clips containing melody information into ableton. then loading up an external instrument native ableton device, and synthesizied a patch as the midi clip triggered the melody. after the patch was synthesized, the resulting melodies were then recorded into their own individual audio clip and exported. these are sounds that I actually use in my workflow and my intention is to give you one of the tools i use to make your own bangers.

this pack includes

-20 individual analog melodies
